Prof. Zewen Li🎓︎

East China Jiaotong University, China

Bio: Prof. Zewen Li works as a full professor and doctoral supervisor at East China Jiaotong University. He is a high-level innovative talent in Jiangxi Province and a recipient of special government allowance. He was included in the national hundred-thousand-talent training project and won provincial outstanding youth research funding.

His research mainly focuses on power grid fault diagnosis, new energy power system optimization and power system relay protection. He has led over ten national and provincial research projects, including several National Natural Science Foundation general programs and sub-tasks of national key R&D plans. He has published two academic monographs and more than 120 papers, with over 30 SCI articles, and owns over 20 authorized invention patents.

He holds academic positions in IEEE PES and the China Electrotechnical Society. His research achievements have earned him a first-class provincial science and technology progress award and an international invention exhibition gold medal. In teaching, he delivers core courses for undergraduates and postgraduates, supervises numerous graduate students, and leads a provincial outstanding teaching team.

Bio: Mohamed Benbouzid (Fellow, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the National Polytechnic Institute of Grenoble, Grenoble, France, in 1994, and the Habilitation á Diriger des Recherches degree in electrical engineering from the University of Amiens, Amiens, France, in 2000.,After receiving the Ph.D. degree, he joined the University of Amiens as an Associate Professor of electrical and computer engineering. Since September 2004, he has been with the University of Brest, Brest, France, where he is currently a Full Professor of electrical engineering. He also serves as a Distinguished Professor with the Shanghai Maritime University, Shanghai, China. His research interests include the analysis, design, and control of electric machines; variable-speed drives for traction, propulsion, and renewable energy applications; and the failure diagnosis and prognosis of electromechanical systems.,Dr. Benbouzid is a fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET). He is the Editor-in-Chief of International Journal on Energy Conversion and the Applied Sciences (MDPI) Section on Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering. He is a Subject Editor of IET Renewable Power Generation.
